Steve Lu

Ze (Steve) Lu is a licensed physiotherapist with extensive training in rehabilitation and integrative care. He earned his Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Master of Rehabilitation and PhD in Rehabilitation Science, followed by a Master of Physiotherapy from McMaster University.
Steve specializes in orthopedic physiotherapy, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, pain management, low back disorders, and sports rehabilitation. His clinical approach combines the precision of Western rehabilitation science with the holistic principles of traditional Chinese medicine.
He believes that optimal recovery is achieved through a personalized, active, and evidence-informed treatment plan, integrating manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and acupuncture to restore function and reduce pain.
Currently, Steve is advancing his clinical expertise through the Fellowship of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) program, focusing on advanced orthopedic assessment and manual therapy techniques.
